Increase Touch Pro 2’s Conference Calling Limit from the default 2
Overview : If you use a Touch Pro2 you must have at some point of time considered how to increase the number of Conference Calling you can have. By default only 2 are allowed, but thaks to this hack from PocketNow you can increase it. The number depends on what your carrier supports. For US T-Mobile users the limit is 6 according to pocketnow.
How to apply the hack :
* Open your favorite Registry Editor and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\PHONE
* Then open the key named: “MaxConferenceSize”
* The default is ‘2′ , increase it to ‘6′
* Reboot
By default it's set to 2, and that's where you're limited. I changed it to 6 since that's what I believe the real limit is for conference calls on T-Mobile. After a soft-reset, you'll be able to set up a conference room with up to 6 people.
